Dual Diagnosed
The Dual Diagnosis program is unique and specifically tailored to meet the needs of those with comorbid disorders. It is designed for individuals suffering from chemical dependency and a concurrent psychiatric disorder. For persons living with dual disorders (substance abuse and depression/anxiety and or schizoaffective disorders, etc.), Realization Center offers an alternative to replace drug taking with healthier social interactions. Education is provided regarding the correlation between addiction and mental illness.
Services Provided
The Dual Diagnosis program at Realization Center consists of group therapy sessions five days per week, weekly individual sessions, psychiatric intervention, medication management with our psychiatric staff and random urine screening. The goal of the therapeutic sessions is to assist clients in living a drug free life, learning to manage their mental illness and most of all build self-esteem and develop a social recovery network.
